When preparing a meat puree, you should take into account:
- that the meat must be lean, with the least amount of fat possible, such as breast and wings, thighs of poultry and sirloin of beef, pork and horse.
- if your baby is 6-7 months, it is advisable to offer meat in the form of purée; you can cook it with the vegetables and then blend it with the rice, semolina or pasta and a teaspoon of olive oil.
- From 6 months or when you and your paediatrician agree, you can start to introduce meat in the form of a stew with potatoes, vegetables and rice where the consistency is chunky to promote chewing. Make sure it is a well cooked stew which is tender.
In MI MENU we offer chicken and rice and vegetable and chicken with rice prepared baby food.
